Wrapping shut a dogs snout with tape, neglect and malnutrition

Anderson, age 42, pled innocent at his arraignment in Painesville Municipal Court on November 3rd, 1999.

The dog was found at a neighbor's doorstep when she let her own dog out.

If convicted the animal cruelty charge brings a 3-month jail term.  He could also be charged with a 2nd 3-month term if convicted of letting his dog run without a leash.

Anderson was released on $1000 bond on condition he turn over his other dog to the county dog warden.  The muzzled dog, named Hershey was also taken to the county dog pound and has recovered.
