Victor Molina Kicked racehorse in the stomach Philadelphia, PA June 19, 2007

Molina, age 46, faces a disciplinary hearing on Friday, June 22nd after being caught on simulcast cameras kicking a horse in the stomach before the 3rd race at Philadelphia Park.

Molina was in the starting gate with 2-year-old Yes Yes OhYes when the colt reared up and became stuck, striking Molina in the chest.  After the colt was backed out of the gate and ordered scratched by the track veterinarian, Molina went to get his tack off and proceeded to kick the colt in the stomach.  The horse is trained by Clifford Sise and owned by Hidden Meadows Farm

Molina apologized and said he would accept the track steward's punishment which will range from a fine to permanent ejection.  By the 6th race, Molina was asked to leave the grounds.

Molina a 27-year veteran has 26 wins and earnings of $588,807 to date.
