Seven members of a fraternity were arrested on an animal cruelty complaint after they were caught with a U-Haul van crammed with a goat and other livestock apparently acquired as part of a prank.
Police said the Alpha Epsilon Pi members told officers they bought the animals at a farm earlier Tuesday and planned to release them at another fraternity house.
Neighbors called police late Tuesday after hearing moaning sounds coming from the van, which was parked at a vacant former Alpha Epsilon Pi house.
