Two adults and seven juveniles face charges in connection with an 18th Street home invasion that resulted in extensive damage and theft.  The incident was reported to Fond du Lac Police in mid-July after April Binder and her family returned from vacation.  The nine individuals face charges of burglary/theft, receiving stolen property, providing underage persons with illegal drugs, criminal damage to property and operating a motor vehicle without an owner’s consent. An estimated $13,000 worth of items were taken from the home according to Police Department Major Kevin Lemke.

The Binder family’s pregnant rabbit was also missing following the incident and may have been abused.  Major Lemke stated that right now, the police department has conflicting information on the abuse of the rabbit.
