15 moneys stolen from the back garden of an Argyll cottage

The 15 monkeys - 7 squirrel monkeys and 8 marmosets were taken from the back garden of an Argyll cottage at the Oban Zoological World.

The monkeys were only 15 of the 120 animals owned by Gordon and Anne Rollinson, who opened the cottage in 2001.

Among the wildlife in the garden were wallabies, squirrel monkeys, lemurs, marmosets, pygmy goats and lizards.

The couple, both in their 60ís have decided to sell off their entire stock and retire to Spain.

The thieves had to break through 5 locks to get at the animals.
