Who hung a 14-week old West Highland terrier

Police are looking for the person(s) who hung a 14-week old West Highland Terrier named “Miss Ellie” from a tree in the 2000 block of Chili Avenue and left her to die in the backyard.

Tim Farrell had left home for just a little while and upon returning discovered the dog in the tree.  His other puppy “Dip” a Golden Retriever was spotted wandering down the road.  When Farrell left the house both dogs were tied up in the backyard.

$1000 - $5000.

The Humane Society of Lolly Pop Farm believes the dog was killed in retaliation.  Farrell has had some minor trouble recently with one person, but isn’t sure who is responsible.  A necropsy is being performed to determine the exact cause of the dogs death.

There is a $2000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.  If caught and convicted, the person responsible could spend up to 2 years in jail and fined from pop Farm believes the dog was killed in retaliation.  Farrell has had some minor trouble recently with one person, but isn’t sure who is responsible.   A necropsy is being performed to determine the exact cause of the dogs death.
